It applies to all electrical and mechanical equipment and protective systems. The specification is selected by taking into consideration "the probability of the occurrence of a explosion", this probability being divided into hazardous zones.

1. Explosion Proof Motor
    
The 3 phase AC squirrel cage induction motor rates at IP 66, 40 % ED duty cycle and F class insulation.
       Wherever the possibility of explosion exists there is a requirement.

2. Flameproof Brake
     
The brake meets the requirements of ATEX Directive 94/9/CE , Group II 2GD category, and also
       is in compliance with the norms EN 60097-1:2004, EN 61241-0:2006 and EN 61241-0-2004.
       The brake is also qualified by a certificate No. NERIS 06 ATEX 0047/01.

3. Master Control Box
     The explosion proof enclosures are designed for use indoors or outdoors in potential hazardous
       atmosphere due to the presence of explosive or combustible gases and dusts.
       They are installed in the following zones; zone q, zone 2, zone 21 and zone 22.

4. Pendant Switch
    
A certified features of water-proof and dust-prevented d ATEX II 2GD pendant switch is suitable
       for all kind of industry where an explosive atmosphere may be present. The certified
       IP 65 water-proof and dust-prevented comply with the requirements of IEC 60529.

5. Limit Switch
    
An electro-mechanical explosion proof limit switch are compliant with IEC standard consist of
       an actuator mechanically linked to a set of contacts. When an object comes into contact with the 
       actuator, the device operate the contacts to make or break an electrical connection.
